No bundled charges, no fee that suddenly appears at the end. Enter what a seller wants to receive and see precisely what the buyer pays and what the seller nets, using SafePay's actual published pricing.
Estimate only, based on our published v1 fee schedule. The exact total is always shown before either party confirms a deal.
Full fee schedule
| Deal value | Buyer fee | Seller fee |
|---|---|---|
| $1 – $100 | 3% | 2.5% |
| $100.01 – $500 | 2.5% | 2% |
| $500.01 – $2,000 | 2% | 1.5% |
| $2,000.01 – $10,000 | 1.5% | 1% |
| Above $10,000 | 1% | 0.5% |
A minimum fee of $1.00 (buyer) and $0.50 (seller) applies on very small deals, so a transaction never costs less than it takes to actually process it. Deals above $10,000 move to negotiated pricing based on corridor, volume, and relationship.
How pricing works
Pricing questions, answered directly.
The mechanics behind the number the calculator shows you.
Why does SafePay charge both a buyer and seller fee?
Because the two fees pay for different things. The buyer's fee covers funding and platform costs on the way in. The seller's fee covers settlement and payout costs on the way out. Splitting them this way means every fee has exactly one clear purpose, instead of one bundled charge nobody can fully explain.
Do fees change based on payment method or currency?
The percentage tiers shown here are the platform fee. Currency conversion and payment processing costs are shown separately, itemized, and disclosed before a buyer ever confirms a deal, never folded silently into a single number.
What happens above $10,000?
Deals above $10,000 move to negotiated pricing, typically lower than the standard tiers, based on corridor, volume, and the specifics of the relationship. Reach out through the business page and we'll quote it directly.
Is the fee schedule fixed forever?
The percentages shown here are SafePay's default v1 commercial policy. They may be adjusted over time by jurisdiction, corridor, or partnership, but any agreement already in progress keeps the terms it was created under. Pricing never changes retroactively on a live deal.
